First Time For Everything!

So now I can say that I've been escorted off Temple Square by Security! My little Sarah received a gash in her head and had to get staples! How did it happen, you ask? Well myself and my children were to meet my extended family at Temple Square and while doing so we were getting our picture taken in front of the Christus statue. Sarah sat down and began to swing on the velvet rope just in front of the statue and fell back right on the edge of the platform. Screams echoed and blood gushed and that was that.

The neat thing was that it couldn't have happened at a better place. Everyone was so helpful right down to the staff and visitors. A blessing in disguise was that my parents weren't due back from St. George until late that night but they decided to step on it and made it to Salt Lake right at the time I needed a lift to the hospital. So Dad met me at the gates and Mom stayed back with the kids. Miracles do happen everyday. Thank you to all who helped me and the kids this day, especially Mom and Dad and the family!

Back to her normal self, only a bit wackier!

Oh Lani...I am SOOOOO glad she's ok!!! What a scary thing to have happen! Seriously, the timing with your parents was crazy! I'm so glad you weren't alone and that you had so many helpers!!! Next time we meet up will be better...I promise!!!

The Lord is always watching and blessing us! That just turns my skin inside out to see the staples in her head! I would NOT make a good nurse or doctor AT ALL! Glad she's doing okay. You're an awesome mom.

Oh that is too bad. That looks painful. Your kids are so cute. Luckily we haven't had any experiences like that yet. Knock on wood.

Poor Sawah....good to see her up and jumping around when she came over to Mom and Dads! Wonder why she always gives the shy stink eye to Joshey, still!

So glad that she is okay. Sorry we couldn't visit for longer. You've got great kids by the way. Jacob & Sydney were very good at the temple while we were waiting. We had a fun time playing the "Run/stop" game outside on the temple grounds and the "quiet" game in the JS building and the visitors center. They are great listeners!!

Hey Lani! I can't believe Sarah had to get staples! I don't know what I'd of done in your shoes, probably freaked out. But Alan tends to take over at times like that anyway! I just love your blog! Your kids are beautiful and it looks like you all have a lot of fun!

Good luck with selling your home and the move. Your home does look beautiful though, you've really made it look so nice.

Love ya!
