First Day of Kindergarten!

Jacob started Kindergarten on Tuesday and was so excited he could hardly contain himself! He's was up at the crack of dawn ready to roll. Jacob has a 1st grader friend who showed him where the "Cool kids" sit, so they headed straight to the back of the bus. When it was time to pick him up at the bus stop after school I waited and waited, and then his bus came--but no Jacob! Yeah, I was worried! I headed back home and there was a message on the machine stating that Jacob's name wasn't on the list to be bussed and that he was with his teacher. So we headed to the school. He was waiting in the class room with a big smile on his face, not worried a bit. Turns out too that Jacob's kindergarten teacher was Chris's same teacher 27 years ago!

Cute pictures. I can't believe he is old enough to be in kindergarten! Time is just cruising on whether we are ready for it or not. Does Sydney start next year? If she does, that'll be nice with just the two at home! Thanks for the update. Love you guys. I miss y'all SO much and can't wait to see you in Nov. Give all the kids smooches from Auntie Nessa!

How fun that he has the same teacher that Chris had! I love that age where they are just happy to see someone they know and love, regardless of the situation!

The colors that I used were Valspar "Seagull Beach" & "Wool Coat" (the darker one used in the hallway). It's an awesome color, red nutral and I'm SO happy with it. It brings a very warm and elegant feeling to the room. Also check out the other colors that are within the same color family. Go to valspar.com and choose "paint online" under "explore possibilities". Choose "see colors", and it's under "warm colors" the very bottom left hand color palette.

Wow he such a big boy! I didn't know kindergartern(is that spelled with a 't' or a 'd'?) kids take the bus.
I remember walking home one day from kindergarden thinking I could do it and got lost...actually I was headed to the babysitter's place which was just a few blocks away from school. Eventually I somehow made it, I can't remember exactly.

Our baby girl is going to be mauled by a baby Bair, great.

Actually she will be mauled by a family of Bairs. Hahaha! We read that last comment of yours and I cracked up laughing telling Chris about the mauling.

I feel a bit sheepish because I just emailed Kristi and told here that she needed to give you a hint about starting a blog...and low and behold here you already have a blog I just didn't know! I think it is great that the Quan's and Feldman's can reunite thru blogs! It is great to see what you and your family are up to! Cute kiddos. The next time we are in UT we need to get together!
